We met at a mutual friend's birthday party at the Red Iguana in SLC in April 2007. He was a Hebrew major at the U of U. I was an Arabic Major at THE BYU. Not exactly destined compatibility. But that night I was freezing and he went and got me a jacket (even though he didn't know me.)
I was impressed by his kindness and he must have been impressed by something, because he got my phone number after the party. We dated and got married August 22nd 2008 in the STG temple. Our 1st year of marriage was pretty a-traditional, living in separate countries and all. But now were back together living Monterey, CA where Dan attends the DLI.
Loves zombies, guns (to defend against previous), avant garde footwear, indie music, pizza and hot wings, and hiking.
Loves baking, running (to counteract previous), going to spin class when Kate is teaching, reading blogs, writing blogs, reading any sort of books, and coveting other people's dogs.
