A little Mid-Week Mockery

Yes, yes I did.
I know, I've said a lot of mean things about Vibram 5 fingers - and they are all still true. They make you look like a total goon dog, and they are pretty pricey for what basically amounts to a foot glove. But, I read a book and it changed my life (I say that way too often for it to be true.) But it really was an awesome book,  Born to Run (if anyone wants to read it i'll send you my copy! does that make me a five finger missionary?) - and it made me a believer in "barefoot running."
Mock me all you want, I deserve it (I know Dan has already capitalized on this opportunity.) But me and my non-heel striking feet will be out running. And my odds of getting hit by a car while running in the early morning light while sporting such day glow colors? Slim to none thank you.

Dan is pretty into Air-soft
But when his Priests proposed Air-soft as Wednesday night activity he played it off like he had barely heard of such a thing. He had them thinking he was going to show up with a borrowed gun and no idea what was going on. Instead, he spent the ensuing days assembling his gear for a massacre.
Picking on 18 year olds you're supposed to be spiritually mentoring?
Yes, yes he did.

Oh no, I do not want to read that book to change my life because I have done my fair share of mocking. I like how Dan played the whole naive thing. By the way in the last post April was me. Not sure why I was logged in under me mum.

I've been wanting to try some of those Vibram 5 fingers, but if I get them I might actually have to run. I'm loving your choice of color though!

I saw a little clip and video on NPR about "Born to Run". I know I need to start running but it seems like so much work and a little expensive too.

I say "way to go Dan" 18 year olds need to be picked on once in awhile.

I can't believe you got 5-finger shoes! Secretly, I'm jealous. Maybe, in the next blog you can give us a detailed review on these shoes, so when I can run again I could get myself a pair, because secretly I want them...
